The 2 mm pinfire is a one and a half inch pistol that fires a 2 mm pinfire cartridge at a slow speed of less than 500 feet per second. Its energy is less than 1 Joule[citation needed]. Many 2mm rifles and pistols are made in limited quantities as collector items; usually priced at $500. The most common types are single shot and revolver.
