HMS Torridge (K292) was a River class frigate that served in the Royal Navy.[1]

On 21 January 1944 the Torridge was transferred to the Free French and renamed La Surprise.[2]

In 1964 the ship was transferred to Morocco to be used as a Royal Yacht and renamed Al Maouna.[1][2]
